We are asking you to join us in responding to the cries of “the least, the last and the left out” by performing little acts of charity. You can do this by becoming an active volunteer in some facet of our ministry. You will join over 200 volunteers annually in helping. This is hands-on, get your hands dirty kind of work. You will come to understand the statement made by one of our high school students as he was leaving after a morning of volunteering, “I didn’t know helping the poor was so heavy.”
You will be challenged to your very soul to come to understand that the gift is truly in your giving blindly to whomever asks of you. You will come to understand all the different faces that poverty wears as you work among those who need your help. You will also come to know the power of work as prayer. You will be blessed for the work you do for God’s poor.
Come and experience the joy of living the gospel by the work of your hands!
We are currently looking for help in the various programs serving the “least, the last and the left out.” We need people to be program leaders for our Christmas Giving Program, The Flea market, Food Distribution, Immigration, IT services and Facilities Management.
