Open Positions

Retail Programs – this is our LittleStore, Just New! and Flea Market programs.

Store inventory processors – will sort, process household items, and hang clothing

Inventory Pricers – will generate labels of items to be put into the stores

Counterpersons – is a cashier, and processes any donations that come in.

Flea Market workers – will help set up and put away the flea market tables and items for sale, salesperson

Electrical Tester – will assist in testing and processing the vast amounts of electrical appliances we receive

Sr. Alice Petty, R.S.M. citizenship/immigration – helps people processing their paperwork for a change in immigration status or prepare for the citizenship exam.

Caseworkers/mentors – will work with individuals to teach English or Citizenship examination preparation 

Pastoral Outreach – responds to requests for help

Program Manager – will manage program budget, recruit volunteers, and manage volunteer schedule

Outreach workers – will work with applicants requesting help.

Outreach to the Elderly – will work with the elderly to deep clean their homes 

Clean-Teams – goes to the home of an elderly person and cleans the ceilings, walls, floors, etc.

Food Distribution –  picks up and distributes food at two locations. 

Program Manager – manage program budget, recruit volunteers, and manage volunteer schedule.


Shift leaders – are responsible for managing a shift, opening, and closing of the food pantry

Shift workers – are responsible for helping guests select and bag their food selection. 

Saint Stephen Housing Initiative – provides housing for newly arrived refugees, immigrants, and asylees.

Program Manager – manage program budget, recruit volunteers, manage volunteer schedule, make sure property is in good repair and collects rents.

Maintenance – Help with routine maintenance as required

Administration – this is the day-to-day operations of the Urban Missionaries of Our Lady of Hope

CEO – manages all program managers and administrative personnel.

IT – Help manage our computer infrastructure.

Administrative Assistant – supports the CEO in his day-to-day responsibilities.

Maintenance – Help with routine maintenance as required

Cleaner – Cleans the facilities.
